This equipment is used for disassembling or assembling the set No. 2 coupler buffer device from the vehicle body of torpedo tank trucks. The design, manufacture and installation of the coupler disassembly and assembly machine comply with the requirements of Document No. 207 of Iron Transportation (2011), "Railway Freight Car Factory Repair Regulations", Document No. 202 of Iron Transportation (2012), "Railway Freight Car Sectional Repair Regulations", TB10014-2012 "Sectional Repair Regulations for 320-ton Railway Torpedo Cars", YB T 4224-2010 "Technical Specifications for Steel Water Tanks and Molten Iron Tanks for Metallurgy", and YB/T 4347-2013 "General Technical Conditions for Torpedo-Type Mixed Iron Cars". 

This disassembly and assembly machine has fully taken into account various operating conditions such as empty vehicles, loaded vehicles, different wheel diameters, and different couplers. It adopts a track-running mode, is lightweight in movement, and accurate in positioning. It is suitable for site environments where the track surface is higher than the ground, the track surface is level with the ground, and there are underground trenches in the railway lines. It can meet the disassembly and assembly operations of coupler and buffer devices of types 2, MX-1, ST, MT-II, MT-III, and Mark50.
